Job DescriptionDuring your internship you will create a communication interface between different machines based on an ISO standard.You will implement autonomous machine control functions in ROS2 and Simulink.Furthermore, you will test functionalities in a lab setup.Last but not least, you will validate functions on a machine (excavator / wheel loader) alongside test engineers.

QualificationsEducation: studies in the field of MINT, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable, average in maths subjects not worse than 2.0Experience and Knowledge: programming skills in C++ or Python; C++ as part of at least one lecture or project; knowledge of ROS2 or MATLAB or Simulink is a plus; background in control theory and path planners would be an advantagePersonality and Working Practice: you are a motivated person with an independent working styleEnthusiasm: open to working both on the test track and in an office environmentLanguages: good in German and very good in English
