About Thales

In the Netherlands, where more than 2200 employees are based, we are located in four cities: Huizen, Delft, Eindhoven and Hengelo (HQ). Information about the department

The GCC-PCB is a manufacturing facility within the Thales Group and is a highly specialized manufacturer of state-of-the-art Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for aerospace, defense and medical applications. The facility is capable of producing the most challenging PCB designs using the highest quality standards. The GCC-PCB consists of approximately 75 people, 16 of whom work within the Engineering team. In addition to products for Thales, the GCC-PCB also supplies products to external customers.

About the assignment

Continue and improve OEE measurements on the current three bottle neck processes to record losses as an input for improvement

Select supplier for OEE measurement equipment

Improve OEE reporting in Power BI

Improve cost and load calculations based on time measurements of the activities of operators on the floor. Input from operators and amount of actual production hours needed will be used to optimize the preliminary calculation.

Affinity

You will be working in a very technical environment where working with data drives improvement. You will be in close touch with operators. You have to be able to build a close relationship with them to measure their output to get data for OEE , product costs and load calculation. Analytical skills will be needed to compare and select suppliers for OEE measurments. Affinity with, interest in lean manufacturing is desired.
