Job DescriptionPerform Audits to check EHS Compliance at workplacePerform Audit follow-up to ensure corrective actions are implementedDocumentation Management: training records, Contractor Work Authorization records, Chemical Register, Safety Data Sheets, Equipment Buy Off records etc.Data Analysis to study trends: near miss or accident trends, waste generation trends, audit findings trends etc.Assist HSE Engineers on hazard assessment: equipment safety buy off, coordinate noise monitoring, storm water sampling, chemical exposure monitoring etc.Support EHS Campaign events: prepare poster, coordinate games, quiz, exhibition etc.Assis HSE Engineers on other activities as needed

QualificationsBachelor Degree in Science (Environmental, Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering preferably).  Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word

Additional InformationLocal student needing to complete internship as part of their tertiary educationAt least 6 months availability for internshipMay 2024 intake
