The PositionIn Dtech (Distribution Technology), we deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient distribution technologies to bring life-changing medicine safely to all patients. The Dtech team provides technical expertise, project leadership, and network alignment for the sourcing, development, qualification, and implementation of global logistic monitoring solutions/IoT, thermal shipping systems as well as tertiary packaging.
The Opportunity
As a packaging engineer intern will work on a variety of packaging initiatives, contributing to the qualification of global packaging solutions for clinical and commercial use.
In this role you will practice and strengthen the following skills: Work effectively on cross-functional/ geographically diverse teams, and establish strong collaborative relationships with different stakeholders: Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement. Improve ability to communicate, present, and influence. Gain Technical expertise in the thermal shipping system qualification process. Gain expertise in sustainability.
The internship will be focused on the following responsibilities:
Technical Writing: Develop, review, and finalize qualification documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Compliance Support: Ensure that processes and documentation align with regulatory and internal compliance standards GSP091.
Template Improvement: Work on improving templates (Qualification Summary Reports), PQ protocols, and Reports, and apply these templates to existing thermal shipping systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, sites, and partner departments to gather necessary information and perspectives.
Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of all qualification documents and ensure they are readily accessible in eVal
Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the document creation and management process
Communication: Support the team's efforts to communicate project impact to the organization.
Who you are:
You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or a master's program in package engineering, materials science, mechanical, chemical, or similar or you've completed your studies within the last 12 months.
You have initial experience with and, above all, a strong desire to further develop your capabilities in:
