Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.

Collect and analyze data from the shop floor to identify areas for process improvementAssist in developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance operational efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and reduce wasteConduct time and motion studies to improve workplace ergonomics and productivityPrepare detailed reports and presentations on project findings and recommendationsSupport the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex problemsAssist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing processes

QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approachUnderstanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and process improvement methodologiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to work in a factory setting and conduct observations at various workstationsInnovative mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiencyMedium to advanced English language proficiency, both written and verbal
