RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT APPLICATIONS DEPARTMENT:\n
The IT Applications Department at Spurwink Services is responsible for managing and securing all electronic records. This includes converting and organizing HR, finance, and clinical health records into modern data management systems, as well as developing interfaces and generating reports across the agency. This is NOT a help desk internship.\n
The IT Applications Department at Spurwink Services is responsible for managing and securing all INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:\n
As an intern, you will be able to assist the IT applications team with the diverse work of their department. You will meet weekly as a cohort to help form camaraderie, share experiences, and learn from knowledgeable Spurwink employees.\n
REQUIREMENTS:\n\nHybrid Position (2 days in office\/ 2 days working from home)\nProgram Duration: 10 weeks (June 2nd - August 8th)\n4 days a week (8 hours per day)\nAbility to commute to the Greater Portland area two days a week.\nHave an interest in IT applications.\nExperience with Microsoft 365.\nCreate a capstone project sharing educational goals, skills learned, and your experiences.\nAttend a weekly reflection session with a cohort of interns.\nAttend a weekly meeting with a supervisor.\n\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nMust have completed some level of computer science, data structures and\/or programming courses.\nCandidates must exhibit enthusiasm for the work in the department and the mission of Spurwink Services.\nMust have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and critical thinking skills.\n\n
