Laboratory Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low volt-age products. You will be included in the Short Circuit Area of our Lab and will work on a diagnostic tool for arc plasma detection inside low voltage circuit breakers.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for:• Upgrading of the tool both from the software and the hardware point of view.• Defining of a user interface to easily collect data.• System testing and validation.• Performance of short circuit tests on different devices.

Qualifications for the role

You have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Possess a knowledge of MATLAB, LabView and Ansys Maxwell. You are passionate about science and technology supported by a strong technical background. Knowledge about the use of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multime-ter, functions generator etc...). Degree in Electrical or Electronical engineering. You are at ease communicating in Italian (C2 level) and English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.
