Internship Summer 2025 - Biologist Intern

Job Description:

Overview

This role will support our environmental team on projects involving wildlife conservation, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable land management.

Responsibilities

Assist in field surveys and data collection related to wildlife, vegetation, and habitats.

Collaborate with staff to analyze ecological data and contribute to environmental technical reports and permit applications.

Support the development of conservation plans and environmental impact assessments.

Participate in the assessment and mitigation of environmental impacts of civil and environmental engineering projects.


Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife or Forest Management, Conservation, or related field (Master's degree a plus).

Interest in wildlife conservation and environmental impact assessments.

Familiarity with conducting fieldwork and ecological surveys. - Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be reliable, dependable and able to work independently or within a team.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
