POSITION: Internship – Venue Management
REPORTS TO: Event Manager - EverBank Stadium & VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena
Summary
ASM, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Venue Management Internship with ASM Global. The Venue Management Intern will receive hands-on experience in all aspects of venue management including but not limited to: planning of events, safety and security, food & beverage, facilities management, event day operations, marketing and finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in weekly event preparation meetings and calendar meetings with venue partners.Create and update weekly event information documents and presentations.Work with Guest Services teams in tracking and implementing guest services programs and awards.Assist with event preparation (building walkthroughs, signs, set-up, miscellaneous other duties)Assist in maintaining and tracking event incidents through online database and written reports.Examine various event day and day to day operations.Assist with all aspects of Event Planning & Management including:Food & Beverage/Concessions PlanningParking & Traffic CoordinationEvent Security/Guest Services Staffing & TrainingVenue Presentation & CleanlinessEvent Load In & Load Out. Venue Policies & ProceduresFinancial Planning including Event Estimates & SettlementsDay-to-day building operations and maintenance.Any other duties that may be assigned.Qualifications

Must be in an active Sports Management, Venue Management or Event Management or similar degree Internship Program with an accredited college or university.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be available for all major events (Concerts & Sporting Events, etc.)Physical Demands
