We are looking for a talented Intern (d/f/m) to support our Environmental Control Systems (ECS) domain. We ensure that passengers and crew can survive and feel comfortable when the aircraft is flying at high altitudes where low pressure and temperature are hazardous to human beings! 


Location: Hamburg
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 6 months

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

You will support the department’s goal of developing software, based on model based system engineering for ZEROe program.  You will contribute to the following tasks:

Familiarize with the HiL-real time platform (tutorial/manuals).

Support of the mechanical set up and electric wiring, sourcing of components

Setup and configuration of the hardware and I/O resources.

Integrate the electronic components (e.g. Arduino shield, A429 drivers, CAN bus, motor drivers) with Speedgoat environment

Functional test of the integrated setup. 

Documentation of the steps for the engineering team in a user guide.

You will work in international, integrated project teams to develop software capability.

 Desired skills and qualifications

Registered to a Master degree in Electronic or embedded software

First hands-on experience in programming embedded systems and electrical wiring

Good knowledge in Mathworks tool suite

Highly engaged, autonomous and open-minded way of working and ability to drive the change

Fluent English language skills
