Responsible for written translations required in patient encounters including, but not limited to, forms, care instructions, medication schedules, patient letters, or other identified documents and patient materials. Work on special projects as assigned. **Education and/or Experience** + Degree in any area related to health science required; college level interpreter training preferred + Experience in a healthcare setting as a medical interpreter with strong medical vocabulary preferred + Proof of English/Spanish fluency, both oral and written, through a certified accredited institution or to be established by passing an interpreter’s skills test administered through Avera is required. + Individuals are required to pass a medical terminology test. **Work Schedule** + Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80-hours / 2weeks **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
