Customer Service. Conduit for interpretation of patients’ cultural needs to service staff; interpret clinical and other interactions between patients, families and staff; translate documents and other printed materials as requested by organization, arrange with outside translation vendors as needed; on-call for patient service needs and responds in a timely mannerTime Management. Accept referrals via pager, voice mail and other methods for interpreting both emergency and scheduled interactions; prioritize requests and recommends utilization of other methods if needed; familiar with medical terminology and proceduresDevelopment. Participate in cultural sensitivity training opportunities for organization staff relating to interactions with patients and families of various cultures; member of related committees such as Cultural Diversity and Patient EducationEDUCATION:

14621The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
