UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services, Inc. seeks a Interventional Cardiologist (multiple openings) in Blair and Cambria counties in PA to specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the heart and blood vessels, such as coronary artery disease, heart value disorders, congenital heart disease, and arrhythmias, using nonsurgical, catheter-based procedures and specialized imaging techniques; responsible for patient evaluation, physical examinations, prescribing diagnostic tests and medications, provide guidance for risk factor management, and collaborate with primary care physicians and other healthcare team members to provide optimal care.

Job Responsibilities:

–          Specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions and diseases of the heart and blood vessels, such as coronary artery disease, heart value disorders, congenital heart disease, and arrhythmias, using nonsurgical, catheter-based procedures and specialized imaging techniques.
