Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician led financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

Join 4 fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologists (18 total radiologists), two interventional APPs and a dedicated clinic nurse. The team is supported by excellent relationships with referring MDs and participates in multiple multidisciplinary conferences. The practice includes PAD procedures, EVAR/TEVAR, all non-breast biopsies, interventional oncology including solid organ ablation and Y-90 therapy, venous interventions, vascular and dialysis access as well as a wide variety of general IR typical of a tertiary-level community practice. We are also the regional trauma center. The IRs are considered the vascular specialists and interpret most non-emergent vascular diagnostic exams.

Scheduling includes:

70% IR (vascular/non-vascular procedures and clinic) and 30% non-IR work, primarily acute care imagingDaily IR clinic staffed by both an MD and NP/PA. The NP/PA sees some patients independently and can also help the MD in a “resident” model 1:5 IR call with a dedicated post-call Monday after every call weekend. Additional call compensation provided internally by flexible ‘comp time’.
