Syms Strategic Group (SSG)  is seeking a talented Interventional Radiologist Location: Lexington VA Medical Center (VAMC), Lexington, KY Department: Veterans Affairs Type:  Full Time Min. Experience:  Experienced Security Clearance Level:  Public Trust (MBI)  Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!   Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. + Use imaging technologies to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Use tools such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to obtain images of the inside of bodies. + Based on the obtained images, interpret and analyze information to aid in diagnoses. + Perform minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. + Treat a wide range of conditions, including cancers, blockages in blood vessels, and internal bleeding, amongst others.   Required Skills and Experience + Be available to work shifts that are not finalized at the time of hire. + An ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. + Experience with Interventional Radiology, PET/CT, MRI, CT, US. Professional Certifications Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, another state or territory of the United States, or in the District of Columbia Years of Professional Experience n/a Desired experience n/a Formal Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and residency training Citizenship Requirement U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity Security Clearance Requirements Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) CRITICAL NOTES: + SSG will not make assumptions regarding your qualifications.
