This role involves managing a team of technologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Interventional Radiology Manager will work closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, develop protocols and implement best practices. This position will supports and uphold the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. **Responsibilities:** ​ + Leadership and Management + Supervise and manage the IR team, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluations + Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging professional development and continuous learning + Ensure the department operates efficiently, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety + Ensure all team members are properly trained for their roles + Develop and implement annual competencies for every team member + Clinical Operations + Oversee the scheduling and coordination of interventional procedures, ensuring timely and efficient patient care + Develop and implement protocols, policies, and procedures in collaboration with medical staff to maintain best practices and regulatory compliance + Ensure proper use, and maintenance of all interventional radiology equipment, coordinating with biomedical engineering for repairs and preventive maintenance + Quality Assurance and Compliance + Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including Joint Commission, OSHA, and state and federal regulations + Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient outcomes, improved length of stay times, and departmental performance + Investigate and address any incidents or complaints, implementing corrective actions, as needed + Financial Management + Develop and manage the department’s budget, including staffing, equipment, and supplies + Monitor and control expense, optimizing resource utilization while maintaining high-quality care + Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives to enhance departmental service + Collaboration and Communication + Serve as a liaison between the Interventional Radiology department and other hospital departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration + Communicate effectively with patients, families and referring physicians to ensure a positive patient experience and coordinate care + Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and committees to represent the Interventional Radiology department **What you will need** **Required:** + Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred + ARRT certification in Radiography and Interventional Radiology or equivalent + For nursing professionals, Registered Nurse license in the State of MarylandAmerican Heart Association - CPR + BLS certification + Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Interventional Radiology, with at least 2 years in a leadership role + Strong knowledge of Interventional Radiology procedures, equipment, and safety standards + Excellent leadership, communication (interpersonal, verbal and written), and organizational skills + Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills + Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems + Proficiency in basic computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, etc) Pay range: $99,340.80 - $148,054.40 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
