Schedule Details: Day Shift with varying start times - 0730, 0800, and 0830. On call requirements - One weekday every other week and every 8th weekend. Holiday call coverage is assigned on a rotating basis.
What You Will Do:
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? ProHealth Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team. In this role, you will assist physicians and other team members in performing diagnostic angiography and interventional radiologic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and IR team members during diagnostic angiography and interventional radiology procedures. Demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of interventional radiology, including sterile technique, angiographic supplies, and medications/lab test values. Apply in-depth knowledge of anatomy, angiographic systems, and software according to established guidelines. Continuously improve technical skills in anatomy, physiology, and equipment use for interventional procedures. Safely administer contrast media, ensuring understanding of relevant medications and lab values. Communicate patient status and any concerns to the radiologist during procedures. Utilize critical thinking and age-appropriate patient positioning techniques. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment, reporting any issues promptly to radiology leadership. Maintain inventory control, complete accurate patient charge assignments, and ensure proper documentation. Ensure safe patient hand-off using SBAR protocol pre- and post-procedure. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and procedure rooms. Participate in the development of new interventional procedures and in performance improvement initiatives. Complete all orientation and competency requirements within the designated time frame. Actively participate in department meetings, training, and education of new employees.
What You’ll Bring:

What You'll Need:
Radiologic Technologist, State of WI license Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) High School Diploma or equivalent
