Responsibilities
Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems. Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety. Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary. Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care. Provides a safe environment and identifies hazards immediately. Follows unit protocols to take corrective actions as needed. Demonstrates proficiency in imaging modalities in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology such as digital, laser printing, and cut film.Requirements
Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI) Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital. Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist. Education -Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography; Associate or higher degree preferred
