This role is full time, days. The shift will be 4-10's, from 8:00am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday. On-Call hours may be needed as well.

The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic interventional procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. May be required to scrub into procedures (as needed), previous experience a plus.

Basic Life Support certification required. May also require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable. Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). May be required to obtain advanced credential in interventional radiography, if applicable. Requires current Indiana State Department of Health license as Radiologic Technologist. Requires knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams. Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. Experience as a radiologic technologist, preferred.#LI-Onsite
