JOB SUMMARY

This position plays a vital role in performing specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations under the direction of a licensed physician.  Using radiologic imaging for guidance, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

Patient Preparation:  Reviewing patient history, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Imaging Expertise:  Operating C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography to capture high-quality images and data for physician interpretation.Procedure Support:  Actively participating in interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedures, assisting the physician and ensuring smooth operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 Prepare equipment and rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and instruments are readily available. Maintain a clean and sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns. Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and alert the physician to any changes. Utilize advanced techniques and equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results. Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
Qualifications
 Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures Technologist (or equivalent). American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification is required. Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification is required. Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. ACLS certification preferred.
