SUMMARY
As an Interventional Technologist, your attention to detail and assistance with radiology procedures ensures diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients undergoing procedures.
STATUS: Full-Time
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Radiology
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Rotating Weekends, Days/Evenings/Night Shift
ATTRIBUTES

Patient Care. Provide on-call coverage for radiography in all assigned areas, including angiography, interventional and digital subtraction angiography; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts and throughout the angiographic area; transport medications to procedureDocumentation. Properly document exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts General Maintenance. Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basisMinimum Qualifications:
• Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology or equivalent.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) or obtain certification within three months of employment.
