Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: Graduate of a school of allied health services or Radiology Technnology program preferred.

Experience: Two years prior hospital experience required. Previous special procedures experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates: Registry or certification is preferred.
