Job Description An employer is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their team sitting 100% remote. Responsibilities: Ingest data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apache Airflow, Python. Monitor data pipelines and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate data processing. Identify and troubleshoot data anomalies, issues with files. Develop and trigger alerts for data anomalies and pipeline failures. Work with APIs and streaming data to integrate various data sources. Create data visualizations using Tableau or Looker to support business insights. Compensation: $15-20/HR. Skills and Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer Proficient in Apache Airflow and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience creating DAGs and workflows, monitoring workflows Strong proficiency in Python and SQL Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker Familiarity with APIs and streaming data Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills PySpark skills.
