INTL India-Workday Absence Solution Architect
Job Description The Workday HCM Solution Architect will configure new functionality and enhancements within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) suite. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the Workday HCM product suite and strong expertise in Workday configuration. This role involves collaborating with regional HR leaders, HRIS analysts, stakeholders, and functional teams to configure new functionality and enhancements within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) suite. The role focuses on providing essential systems support, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and enhancing overall efficiency through strong expertise in Workday configuration and business process design. Job Description  Configure Workday HCM for new functionality and enhancements, including calculated fields, condition rules, eligibility rules, and business processes to support outlined requirements, while mitigating issues or impacts on other business areas  Collaborate with HR leaders, HR Business Partners, HRIS analysts, stakeholders, and functional teams to understand their needs, document technical requirements, and determine configuration options  Lead or participate in interactive discussions regarding best practices, business process development, or configuration options across various Workday HCM modules  Identify system improvement opportunities and propose actionable recommendations  Maintain design documentation to reflect the impact of configuration changes on business processes and communicate these to various stakeholders  Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point in support of our HR, Business, and Employee populations  Conduct root cause analysis for break fixes and issues and identify impacted employees, users, or data clean-up  Manage configuration updates during Workday HCM releases and upgrades, coordinate with Workday support for new functionality requests and defect fixes Screening Questions: - What have they configured? o Is their workday exp configuration or is it data management or business processes? - Reporting experience- do they have a working knowledge of calculated field - Security knowledge- should know how security will impact their ability to do config We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 3-5 years of Workday Absence configuration experience  3-5 yrs of Workday Solutioning experience o Create customized solutions- will get the problem statement, and the requirements.  3-5 years of Workday Reporting-need to be able to build reports, configure a report so they can configure their own data  Strong understanding of all Workday HCM modules- performance management, payable, compensation, benefits  Microsoft Suite experience- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet  Experience working directly stakeholders across business units Workday Pro Certification null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
