Job Description Insight Global is looking for a QA Tester in LATAM or India to work for a large oilfield services company. They will work with a global team with other testers, development support, and domain experts. This person will be responsible for the data validation testing of the edge devices. They will be ensuring the data is coming in, within the parameters, asking questions to help figure out the issue if they aren't, ensuring the data is flowing at the right speed then ensuring the data can be used in a consumable manner for applications. They will be doing both manual and automation testing, so the experience with any background in programming would be extremely beneficial. This person will be on scrum meetings and working in core US business hours to overlap with the entire team globally. The targeted pay rate is $20 -$30/hour based off of education and experience. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in a testing role (manual and/or automation) Experience in testing in cloud solutions Strong experience in validating data on edge devices Automation programming experience (python, VB, C#, Java, etc.) Experience with Azure DevOps for test management Candidate must have English communication and technical writing skills necessary to produce formal test specifications and test plans based off functional, design and requirements specifications Extremely motivated self starting individual and willing to ask questions and speak out Oil and Gas industry direct experience Experience leading/managing a team while still technical null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
