Job Description An employer is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to sit remotely. You will primarily be providing deep expertise in LLMs and transformer architecture to advance the teams AI capabilities, leading the development and optimization of state of the art models. You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for AI projects by leveraging these models and design/ build/ fine-tune transformer-based models such as GPT-4, BERT, etc. for complex NLP tasks. You will focus on the optimization and prompting of these LLMs for a variety of use cases and review model architecture in anticipation to set up future, optimized models. To do this, you will implement pruning/ fine-tuning, quantization and distillation methods to enhance model efficiency and performance. Additional tasks will include overseeing the full lifecycle of model development including end to end deployment, maintenance using MLOps best practices and develop metrics/ KPIs to assess the impact of the AI models on business outcomes, optimizing for ROI. Skills and Requirements 5-7 years experience in data science- developing/ deploying transformer based models and LLMs Experience leading AI projects from conception Deep understanding of transformer architectures and experience with GPT-4, BERT, RoBERTa, etc. Strong Python, SQL and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch Experience with prompt engineering, few-shot learning, and other advanced NLP techniques MLOps knowledge- Familiar with machine learning operations Cloud services experience (AWS) for large scale model training LoRA knowledge Quantization experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
