Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Designer who can read and understand plans and specifications, communicate effectively in English, and use independent judgement to solve problems. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize their workload, work both independently and as part of a team, and have strong organizational and computer skills.

ResponsibilitiesRead and understand plans and specifications.Communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.Use independent judgement and problem-solving abilities.Prioritize workload and recognize priority conflicts, seeking guidance for resolution as needed.Work independently, making decisions and following through on assignments.Collaborate effectively within a team environment.Utilize Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Demonstrate proficiency in Inventor with a minimum of 2 years of experience.Support drafting and structural design tasks using REVIT and other related software.Essential SkillsProficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to multitask, think critically, and problem-solve.Experience with Inventor (minimum of 2 years).Proficiency in REVIT and drafting software.Valid driver’s license and good driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma and/or GED.Completion of a degree or certificate in CAD technology or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of experience using CAD technology in a design or construction firm.Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit.Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology and related software (AGACAD, MWF, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sketchup, BIM-360, Procore, BOX, Dropbox, Sharepoint).Familiarity with cold formed steel construction.Work Environment

This position requires onsite work for 40 hours per week in an office setting. The work environment includes using technologies such as REVIT, BIM, and related software. The role offers long-term growth opportunities and the chance to work on some of the best projects in the Northwest.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
