We are seeking a high caliber US Field Inventory Analyst II. Working under general supervision and in partnership with the supply chain, commercial, and customer service teams, this role is responsible for managing inventory within the US field. Responsible for the efficient flow of inventory between the distribution center and accounts, in alignment with customer needs and organizational policies. This role will proactively monitor and analyze field inventory to ensure optimization as well as adherence to the US field inventory policy. The focus is driving measurable cost-efficiency improvements (Inventory Levels, Scrap and Freight) while improving service levels. This role also interprets and implements USD specific policies and procedures to accomplish assignments.
What You’ll Work On
In conjunction with the Supply Chain and Customer Service groups execute processes and develop tools to manage field inventory. This includes transactional processes, documentation and reporting, training and supporting application tools. Focus on optimizing inventory levels and minimizing expenses (scrap and freight).Partner with sales management, sales representatives, and internal leadership to ensure cross-functional buy-in and alignment on execution of consignment inventory target setting, rerouting of product and successful execution of phase-in/phase-out projects.Regularly spends time in field with sales personnel to understand business needs and see current state firsthand.Ensures sales representatives are informed of consignment return procedures and organizational policies and processes associated with inventory management.Proactively monitors and maintains inventory in partnership with the sales team and internal parties.Implements Use Before Date policies, including field notification and commission adjustments. Generates report to summarize stock rotation and updates USD sales management.Resolves errors and/or discrepancies within regard to inventory with customer service and distribution teams, and with customers as needed.Extracts data from internal systems to create various excel spreadsheets used to identify inventory management, expired inventory, stock rotation initiatives, and other inventory/stocking issues. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the information that is entered in the ERP system.Utilize problem solving techniques when handling interaction with sales reps, sales managers, and customers. Ability to negotiate to consensus.Responsible for coordinating cycle counts activities with the Sales Representatives. May research and resolve various discrepancies that arise in the cycle counts reports. Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (± 16 years) BA, BBA, or BS OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:
