Job Title: Inventory Specialist (Day Shift)

Location: [Warehouse Location]: Athens, AL

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Open-ended (Duration may vary from 5 months to 5 years)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team on the day shift. In this role, you will be responsible for counting and tracking various production parts, ensuring that all items required for manufacturing are accounted for. The position involves walking throughout the warehouse, handling items ranging from small nuts and bolts to larger parts like car seats. Strong attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular cycle counts and inventory control to maintain accurate stock levelsCount and verify parts used in production, ensuring all required items are present as per work ordersCollaborate with the PC specialist, Regina, for daily communication and supportDeliver part orders to the specialist team in a professional mannerDocument inventory counts and update records as necessaryMinimal computer work but strong attention to proper documentationParticipate in shipping and receiving processes as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in inventory management, cycle counting, and inventory controlStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions preciselyExperience with data entry, shipping & receiving, and supply chain operationsProficiency in basic computer tasks and documentationExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Experience Level: Expert level

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
