Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday)
Position Summary:
Join the John Deere team as an Inventory Analyst, where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory management. This role involves overseeing cycle counts, analyzing inventory discrepancies, entering data into SAP, and working closely with inventory teams to drive accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct inventory audits and related transactions to ensure accuracy.
+ Collaborate with John Deere and other partners to meet inventory audit requirements.
+ Generate and present detailed inventory status reports.
+ Lead and supervise cycle counting teams, including wage personnel and junior Inventory Analysts.
+ Oversee manufacturing and materials processes, such as Return Goods Authorization (RGA), cycle counting, and disposition of excess materials.
+ Troubleshoot inventory-related issues and work with factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
+ Manage and analyze daily, monthly, and annual inventory audits, including engine audits and financial accuracy tests.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable.
+ Experience working with database systems is essential.
Qualifications:
+ A degree is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of inventory experience in a manufacturing environment will also be considered.
+ Expertise in inventory control and root cause analysis in manufacturing is required.
+ Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations (e.g., cycle counts, forklift, shipping/receiving) is a plus.
+ Strong administrative and data entry skills.
+ Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in solving problems.
Additional Information:
+ Expect to spend about 50% of your time on the production floor verifying cycle counts. This percentage may vary based on business needs.
+ This is not a physically demanding role—inventory analysts are not responsible for moving parts.
