Inventory Analyst I (Cycle Count - Distribution) 2nd Shift

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

The Inventory Analyst I is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts, researching discrepancies, and communicating inventory needs and status to Management.

Primary Duties:

Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs.Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and locations daily.Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, inventory discrepancies and damaged material.Compiles, verifies and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor.Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures and contractual obligations.Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1 to 3 months of related experience or trainingExperience operating a standup forklift, cherry picker (order picker/high lift), reach trucks. Must be able to pass validation and certification on all equipment necessary to perform job duties.PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Essential Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets.

Physical Demands

Standing for extended periods of time.Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF deviceRepetitive motion.Frequent required to climb or balance, bending, stooping, kneel/crouch, pushing, and pulling of material.Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs – team lifts over 50 lbs.Able to work in various temperature conditions.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential
