Job Description:
TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an Inventory Analyst III (Slotting Analyst). The Analyst will review and analyze inventory control reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations to Inventory and Operational leadership. This position will also help support inventory projects and programs to ensure accuracy and in compliance with service levels.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for analyzing inventory control reports, slotting reports to identify trends and provide recommendations on inventory opportunities.Re-slot items based off customer requirements, velocity and warehouse requests as needed.Analyze item velocity to determine which items need to be re-slot to increase productivity and reduce travel time.Coordinate and process new items and changes in pack size, production description and discontinued product.Research mis-slots, quality issues, verify pick slots and back to stock verification.Escalate potential safety problems or violations to appropriate leadersTroubleshoot daily inventory control issuesDamaged goods receipts, inspection, reporting, and resolution.Consolidation of materials to free space within the distribution center as well as most efficient picking strategy.Root cause e-commerce orders, find discrepancy and problem solve to ensure excellent customer serviceProvide feedback to leadership on root causes and solutions for discrepanciesResearch and process return to sender – document and support getting material back into stock for future orders.Assist in yearly audit functions with internal auditors and external auditorsShared resource between two buildingsRequirements:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalencyMinimum 1 year of related experience or trainingExperience operating a standup forklift, cherry picker (order picker/high lift), reach trucks. Must be able to pass validation and certification on all equipment necessary to perform job duties.PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelEssential Skills:
Experience in a distribution environment preferably with SAP/WMS system experience and inventory management and other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all the processes.Working knowledge and experience preferably in both a mechanized and conventional warehouse in picking and storage operations.Knowledge of warehouse slotting system preferred.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Access.Experience with databases and spreadsheetsStrong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and math.Excellent problem solver and collaborate to seek resolutionStrong communication skills, both written and oral applicationsStrong interpersonal skills; must be motivated and take initiative. Ability to partner with wide variety of people both in person and virtually.Must operate heavy machinery (reach truck, standup fork lift, order picker) – certification is required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
