Introduction

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Analyst Intern with a strong focus on database analytics to join our supply chain team. This internship offers hands-on experience in leveraging data management and analytical tools to optimize inventory processes. This position will work closely with experienced professionals to gain insights into database-driven inventory analysis and contribute to projects that support our business operations.

 

This position will be located in Brookfield, WI.

 

 

Team you belong to

 

You will join a team of supply chain and operations professionals dedicated to supporting the Crushing Spare Parts product lines. We are currently developing inventory reporting and analytics.

 

We work closely with product lines, global inventory planning and procurement teams to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving inventory processes through data insights. Our team culture emphasizes continuous improvement of existing processes, fostering an environment of openness and honesty. Our team members are based in Brookfield, Finland, Lithuania, and India.

 

What you’ll do

 

Assist in tracking and analyzing inventory levels using database management systems to ensure optimal stock availability. Collect, organize, and analyze data related to inventory turnover, forecasting, and product demand using Excel or SQL Prepare detailed inventory reports and dashboards, presenting data-driven findings to the team. Support the implementation of data analytics best practices and inventory management tools. Assist in designing and maintaining inventory databases for improved data accuracy and accessibility. Identify discrepancies between physical stock and system records, analyze root causes, and assist in resolving them.

 

Who you are

 

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Experience or coursework in database management, data analytics, or supply chain operations is a plus.
