WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

As an Inventory/Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for the physical and electronic tracking of inventory, as well as receiving items on dock doing physical counts, preparation of outgoing freight and ordering supplies.

 In this role you will Maintain inventory control, monitor orders and liaise with other teams to ensure optimal inventory levels. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory control for materials to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely reception of supplies and materials and report inventory status and needs to management. Perform data entry of material requisitions and packing slips on the automated systems for the region/division.  Assist shared services in problem resolution involving invoice and shipping of purchasing orders.Liaise with regional staff regarding changes on purchase orders, returned goods and invoicing problems.Maintain record retention system and existing filing system for regulated and non-regulated procurement documents.Track lot numbers for regulated materials and reports status to appropriate staff.Resolve routing problems and forward problems of a more complex nature to management.

Standard Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (could also be 7am to 330pm)

Pay Information: $21-23/hour DOE

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High School or equivalent required.Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in materials management and data entry or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Ability to work in a tight team environmentRequires aptitude to work with figures. Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff required. Good computer skills to include Excel, Access, Word. Able to learn new computer programs with ease.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 30lbs; Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
