Inventory Associate
Job Title: Inventory Associate

Job Description

To support the Inventory department with all of the basic materials related functions.

ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers.Identify and stock materials with the appropriate part number according to established procedures.Issue materials to production work centers and fill out paperwork accordingly.Process basic inventory transactions on the computer.Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility.Expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production.Maintain forklift maintenance and upkeep.Maintain aisles and housekeeping within the warehouse and/or production lines.Properly identify all products assigned for packing.Perform packing procedures with the highest regard to part protection, ensuring parts arrive at the customer undamaged.Barrier bag parts as required.Manage paperwork for assigned tasks, verifying parts orders to pick tickets, and confirming shipments within the ERP system.Work under specific deadlines for overnight shipments.Use freight company computers to process orders and print manifest reports.Fill out carrier BOL and all other required documents.Essential SkillsExperience in receiving, cycle counting, and expediting.Proficiency in operating forklifts and maintaining forklift upkeep.Knowledge of ERP systems and processing bills of lading (BOL).Ability to handle warehouse and material handling tasks.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
