Inventory Associate

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay: $20- $21

Shift: Swing Shift 1pm - 9pm

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Associate to join our team in West Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing prescription packaging, sortation, and inventory control within a large-scale pharmacy/warehouse production environment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle HIPAA sensitive information and medications.

ResponsibilitiesPerform prescription packaging while ensuring HIPAA sensitive information is handled properly.Utilize handheld scanners for prescriptions sortation, including scanning shipping label barcodes and confirming accurate bin locations.Conduct audits for closed bins by comparing physical counts to tote manifest systematic counts and communicating discrepancies to management.Read and analyze application screens and pop-up windows to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.Execute chain of custody audits by recording total bins created in the system, ensuring accurate tote counts, and obtaining driver signatures.Restock workstations with daily supplies and maintain cleanliness by taking out trash, wiping down surfaces, and sweeping.Perform proof of delivery tasks by recording and verifying shipping label numbers and signing off on POD to ensure accuracySkill in switching between tasks without losing efficiency or composure.Experience operating a pallet jack, hand truck/dolly, and scanning unitsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook).Audit, cycle count, reporting, and general labor experience.Experience in data entry, inventory, clerical, quality assurance, and administrative tasks.Ability to identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and notify the supervisor.Experience in loading/unloading and ensuring safe packing and labeling of merchandise for shipping.

Work Environment

This position is located in a large-scale pharmacy/warehouse production environment. You will be exposed to cold conditions in a refrigerated walk-in station (5%-7% of the time) and occasionally handle environmentally hazardous medications. Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and carrying 10 to 20 lbs, stooping, kneeling, reaching overhead and wrist level, frequently utilizing ladders, using firm grasps, and continuously standing, walking, reading, hearing, and using simple grasps.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75
