Inventory Associate
**Job Title: Inventory Associate** **_***APPLY WITH A RESUME TO EARN IMMEDIATE WEEKLY PAY, REFERRAL BONUSES, PAY RAISES AND COMPETETIVE BENEFITS***_** **Job Description** Work with the Supply Chain department to create an inventory cycle count program and ensure the accurate collection of data. Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs, and complete all cycle counts as directed by the Inventory Control Coordinator. Provide the Inventory Control Coordinator with written daily documentation of potential inventory issues. **Responsibilities** + Develop a process to track inventory held in multiple locations and ensure inventory is in the correct location for production. + Investigate, track, and reconcile inventory discrepancies; forward results to the Inventory Control Coordinator for adjustment. + Work to trace problems from item receipt to inventory, observing existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the company. + Collaborate with appropriate staff to determine process improvements to minimize inventory errors and discrepancies. + Perform checks of incoming raw materials that might affect inventory and report any issues to the Inventory Control Coordinator and the Shipping & Warehouse Manager. + Organize locations of material to ensure accurate counts of inventory. + Work with production supervisors and shipping supervisors to ensure inventory moves are tracked correctly to reduce system errors. + Assist in implementing tagged locations for inventory and barcode scanning for all goods. + Safely operate material handling equipment. + Investigate and report root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies. + Use Fishbowl, handheld scanners, and manual recording in the course of performing duties. + Perform other duties as required and assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year experience with inventory control + Experience with both RF scanning and manual counting + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written + Strong computer skills + Knowledge of Fishbowl preferred + Strong math skills + Accuracy and attention to detail **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of distribution operations, including equipment, materials, and workflow + Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height + Capability to perform activities including climbing, bending at the waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, and seeing **Why Work Here?** We offer a variety of competitive benefits for our employees, including 10 paid holidays, 17 PTO days, company-paid single coverage medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) plan with up to a 6% employer match, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts. **Work Environment** The work environment is friendly and family-oriented with a laid-back atmosphere, yet deadline-driven. The facility is located in a refurbished building on Main Street. This is not a temperature-controlled environment, so it can be warm in the summer.
