Description We are in search of an Inventory Associate to join our team in the social assistance industry, located in New Haven, Connecticut. As an Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for handling inventory-related tasks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and liaising with vendors. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately process inventory quotes and update them in the system • Monitor and maintain precise inventory records • Conduct regular checks on inventory levels • Communicate with vendors regarding price and delivery details • Create and manage inventory reports • Oversee supply inventory and replenish as required • Ensure efficient tracking of warehouse inventory. Requirements • Proficient in inventory tracking systems and methods • Demonstrated experience in generating inventory reports • Knowledgeable in managing supply inventory in a healthcare or hospital setting • Familiarity with warehouse inventory procedures • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lift and move heavy items when required • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • High school diploma or equivalent is required • Prior inventory management experience is a plus • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively • Capable of working under pressure and meet deadlines.
