Immediate Superior: Inventory Controller
Job Grade: 06
Location: Wadeville DC
Type of Contract: Permanent

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

Ensure the cost-effective inventory of all goods Stock planning in conjunction with the Ops Manager and the Inventory Controller Participate and assist in inventory counts as prescribed in company policies and procedures Maintain the highest possible level of customer service Ensure that all customer complaints are solved swiftly and efficiently Manage stock movements and documentation in accordance with the ICC and Internal / External audit controls Ensure routine Quality Control inspections in the Distribution Centre Ensure Quality Control checks on receipt of stock and dispatch of stock Ensure FEFO principle is applied to stick movements by printing bin pulling sheets for warehouse Adherence to stock age policy Assist in administering the execution of the product recall process at site level Understanding, implementation and adherence to Internal Control Measures such as ICC’s, ISO requirements and Operations Excellence Daily documentation control Route settlement corrections All routine administration

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Matric certificate Relevant 1 -2 year Tertiary Diploma or Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Minimum of two years working experience in a similar FMCG environment Computer literacy in Microsoft Office SAP knowledge Willingness to work shifts and overtime if / when necessary Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
