Inventory Clerk
**Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist** **Job Description** The Inventory Control Specialist maintains the Inventory Control System and facilitates the addition of new items to the system. This role acts as a liaison between the Operating Room and Materials Service, ensuring seamless communication and efficient inventory management. **Responsibilities** + Maintain the Inventory Control System. + Facilitate the addition of new items to the system. + Act as a liaison between the Operating Room and Materials Service. + Keep the Materials Manager informed of routine problems, complaints, and questions. + Pick goods from indicated locations and deliver them to designated areas. + Place goods accurately in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location. + Receive deliveries as they arrive at the facility loading dock. + Break down packages and stage goods in designated areas for put-away and internal distribution. + Dispose of packing materials, boxes, etc., in designated areas. **Essential Skills** + 3 – 5 years of experience with inventory and supply chain in a hospital or related medical services setting. + Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology. + Experience with Excel, preferably ERGs. + Skills in inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, warehouse inventory, supply chain, and production. + Familiarity with operating room management systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to handle routine problems, complaints, and questions. + Attention to detail in placing goods accurately in storage locations. + Effective communication skills to liaise between departments. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team in a healthcare facility that values precision and efficiency in inventory management. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with alternating weekends.
