Inventory Clerk
Description We are providing an opportunity for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to become a part of our team in PLYMOUTH, Michigan, United States. The role involves managing customer applications, upkeeping precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with observing customer accounts and implementing suitable action. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the warehouse environment industry. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular inventory checks using manual count sheets • Manage and count cases and individual items by SKU • Precisely maintain records of inventory counts • Address any discrepancies found during inventory counts • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and record keeping • Perform Annual Physical Inventory tasks efficiently • Ensure accuracy in data entry - numeric • Implement appropriate actions based on customer account monitoring Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role as an Inventory Clerk or in a related field. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create, edit, and manage spreadsheets effectively. • Excellent skills in data entry, particularly with numeric data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. • Demonstrated experience in annual physical inventory processes, including counting, recording, and reporting inventory levels. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear reporting and coordination with other team members. • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required. • Basic mathematical skills for accurate counting and tallying of inventory items. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ensuring all inventory tasks are completed on time. • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a collaborative attitude. • Physical fitness to handle and move inventory items when required.
