Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to keep track of goods and services and manage orders to facilitate sales or production. Inventory Clerk responsibilities will include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Key responsibilities - Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times - Managing items by counting and classifying - Ensure physical counts and computer records match, calling out any discrepancies - Various data entry tasks - Collaborating with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst - Managing all inconsistencies in documents - Handling inventory by stocking and cataloging products - Collecting estimates and price details from vendors and then comparing costs Requirements - Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well - Analytical and mathematical skills - A minimum of a HS Diploma or equivalent - 1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred - Must have an understanding of the range of services and products offered by the company - Problem solving skills and high attention to detail Qualified candidates that are available to start immediately should contact us today! .
