Inventory Clerk Job Category: Logistics Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is currently seeking an **Inventory Clerk** . The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida office. **Responsibilities:** + Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes. + Primarily responsible for manual and automated inventory control actions. + Performs and monitors administrative (and procedural application) of inventory control. + Assist with tagging and inventory control for Customer/Government property + Computes and accumulates data for use in analysis. + Analyzes reports and records activities, reports inefficiencies to supervisors and recommends corrective actions to improve operations. + Inspects and identifies property. Inspects conditions of property received. + Performs shelf-life inspections of stock. + Prepares statements of facts surrounding property loss, damage, or destruction through causes other than fair wear and tear. + Has the ability to stand on their feet for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours. + Holds the ability to handle items (45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of work + Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of work and contract requirements + High school diploma or GED + Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the inventory process + Valid Driver’s License required _Desired:_ + Forklift/reach truck experience + 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor + Active SECRET security clearance + Experience using Costpoint + Class A CDL + Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work + Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) - ______________________________________________________________________________ **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
