Inventory Clerk
Description We are looking to onboard an Inventory Clerk in Houston, Texas. This role is central to our merchandising team, ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores and website by maintaining precise inventory and purchasing records. The position necessitates consistent communication and collaboration with both internal teams and external vendor partners. Responsibilities: • Ensure the accurate set up and maintenance of items within NetSuite • Execute the entry and upkeep of Purchase Orders, ensuring information is current • Establish and sustain communication lines with vendor partners to monitor purchase order shipping progress • Authenticate data for items and purchase orders by cross-referencing with source documents or business partners • Confirm and input vendor cost and retail prices, ensuring they meet markup expectations set by the Merchandising team • Validate and keep up-to-date vendor contact information • Carry out various administrative duties as directed by the Merchandising team • Regularly update and maintain purchasing and inventory details of new and existing items • Collaborate with internal and external business partners for smooth operations • Ensure a consistent delivery flow of quality merchandise for stores and online platform Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as an Inventory Clerk • Proficient in using NetSuite software for inventory management • Strong skills in merchandise planning and presentation • Experience as a buyer in a retail or related industry • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy • Ability to analyze and solve problems related to inventory management • Good understanding of supply chain procedures • Excellent organizational and planning skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • High level of attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
