Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Description

Work in the warehouse area, conducting finished goods and raw material counts to ensure storage locations are accurate. Perform daily reconciliation of inventory, investigate discrepancies, and handle core warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, shipping, and custom packaging. Understand and apply the concepts of FEFO (first-expired-first-out) and FIFO (first-in-first-out) for raw materials. Monitor and identify short shelf life, expired, and slow-moving inventory to reduce product loss. Take ownership of mock recalls and product withdrawals, systematically following identified product lot codes and transactions. Maintain the cycle count schedule to monitor the health of lot/item/location integrity and prioritize issues causing inventory discrepancies. Identify and investigate all inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.

The work environment is room temperature, working in an office with the inventory manager. The role involves both office and warehouse activities.

This is a Contract position based out of San Leandro, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
