Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Rockaway, New Jersey. This role is in the warehouse industry where you will be handling expensive gourmet products and conducting clerical duties. Responsibilities: • Oversee the organization and restacking of boxes in the warehouse • Handle order picking and co-packing tasks diligently • Generate shipping labels when necessary • Ensure the safe and proper shipment of gourmet products • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping details for future reference • Address customer inquiries related to their orders and shipments • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Requirements • Proficiency in performing Clerical Duties, including file management, data entry, and scheduling. • Demonstrated experience in Order Picking, ensuring the correct items are collected and prepared for shipment or delivery. • Familiarity with Co-Packing processes, including bundling products, labeling, and preparation for distribution. • Ability to work with inventory management software and other relevant computer systems. • Strong organizational skills to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. • Solid numerical skills to accurately count and record inventory data. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment. • Good physical health to handle manual tasks like lifting and moving goods. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills to report inventory status and discrepancies. • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
