General Description:\n

The Inventory Clerk performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving incoming shipments, managing inventory, and shipping goods. The Inventory Clerk also records and maintains control of all inventory items and ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.\n

Duties:\n\nReceive and verify the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, or other records, check for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments, maintain records of goods received\nPut away all inventory receipts\nPerform cycle counts of product inventory\nInvestigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory\nIssue and kit parts for manufacturing orders\nProperly label product locations\nAdjust inventory in database, if applicable, as requested\nVerify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents\nEnsure that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, prepare and keep records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading\nCoordinate with customer service and logistics departments\nMust be flexible to accept work assignments in different areas as needed and required\nHas knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures \nRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. In handling unusual non-routine problems, receives specific guidance from supervisor or other officials \nCoordinate with Logistics team and other departments\nOperate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc.) as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment\nOther Duties as Assigned\n\n

Education\/Experience Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAt least 3 years of experience in the inventory control or stockroom environment\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
