Excellent Total Compensation Package for Our Distribution Center Associates!Earn $19.00 per HourFull-time positionForklift Operation Required/Heights  Pay increases at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years!1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with mandatory overtimeClimate Control Warehouse!Our warehouse benefit package is one of the best in the industry!Benefits include medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, short and long term disability, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), annual merit increases, discounted stock purchase plan, primary care giver, parental leaves, daily pay, and employee assistance program.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Assigns pick locations, accurately, for maximum optimization as necessary.Performs functions of the DC allocation process efficiently.Reconciles Receiving documents to accounting reports accurately.Verifies inventory locations, accurately, and resolves issues for the following areas: Bust-out, stock decks, pick slots, cycle counts, problem pallets, transfers, etc.Performs data entries and updates reports accurately.Verifies and releases breakdowns accurately.Counts locations as assigned or requested accurately.Audits operations departments as assigned by management.Processes all merchandise returns to vendor.Re-ticket/re-package merchandise as instructed and initiate appropriate vendor chargebacks.Completes the daily P.I.T. checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance.Operates P.I.T. equipment in a safe manner.Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety.Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Inventory Control department.Follows all Company policies and procedures.Dollar Tree/Family Dollar is an equal opportunity employer.
