Join us - You’ll be proud to work for a successful, stable, growing Fortune 135 Company that is 100% committed to the safety of its Associates, helps families live lives better, and serves our communities in this time of need. **Excellent Total Compensation Package for Our Distribution Center Associates!** + **Earn $19.00 per Hour** + Full-time position + Forklift Operation Required/Heights + Pay increases at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years! + 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with mandatory overtime + Climate Control Warehouse! **Our warehouse benefit package is one of the best in the industry!** + Benefits include medical, dental, vision, voluntarylife insurance, short and long term disability, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) **,** annual merit increases, discounted stock purchase plan, primary care giver, parental leaves, daily pay, and employee assistance program. **Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** + Assigns pick locations, accurately, for maximum optimization as necessary. + Performs functions of the DC allocation process efficiently. + Reconciles Receiving documents to accounting reports accurately. + Verifies inventory locations, accurately, and resolves issues for the following areas: Bust-out, stock decks, pick slots, cycle counts, problem pallets, transfers, etc. + Performs data entries and updates reports accurately. + Verifies and releases breakdowns accurately. + Counts locations as assigned or requested accurately. + Audits operations departments as assigned by management. + Processes all merchandise returns to vendor. + Re-ticket/re-package merchandise as instructed and initiate appropriate vendor chargebacks. + Completes the daily P.I.T. checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance. + Operates P.I.T. equipment in a safe manner. + Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. + Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personal safety. + Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Inventory Control department. + Follows all Company policies and procedures. **Dollar Tree/Family Dollar is an equal opportunity employer.** Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are Equal Opportunity employers.
