Job Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing the physical inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods through daily cycle counts, as well as quarterly and yearly physical counts as directed by the Controller. This role also supports shop floor transactions that impact inventory through ERP transactions.
ResponsibilitiesContinuously improve inventory procedures and reconciliation processes.Be accountable for inventory accuracy.Provide leadership with inventory analytics, including turns by category, minimum on-hand quantities, and forecasting raw material purchases that align with sales order demand.Perform daily cycle counts for various part classes and enter quantity adjustments into ERP.Support department leads with respective production transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.Receive incoming raw materials and verify contents match purchase orders and packing list items, noting any discrepancy in quantity or quality (quality control).Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with manager to rectify damages and shortages.Record daily deliveries into ERP system the same day.Ensure all raw, component, and finished goods are properly labeled and stored in designated stock areas. Finished goods must have a quality check sticker prior to put away.Maintain accurate inventory of all raw, component, and finished good products.Submit requisition entries for Kanban items and shop supplies.Manage the Kanban process.Coordinate with purchasing to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained.Use hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forklift to move goods from receiving areas to stock/work areas.Perform other job-related duties or assigned tasks and projects as directed by supervisor.Essential SkillsProficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.Experience with ERP systems and inventory management modules (minimum of 3 years).Forklift certification.Experience with VLOOKUP and data entry.Minimum of 3 years working in inventory or warehouse management.At least 2 years of purchasing experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferably experience within manufacturing utilizing wooden parts.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing environment, utilizing tools such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to move goods. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards. The work schedule may include standard business hours with occasional extended hours as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Benicia, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00
